after going through the art book, this particular image [link] really stood out to me. it’s the scene in the antarctic where pitch confronts jack about joining him… but it shows more of what could have been. i have a feeling if this conversation ended up being as personal as the concept art perceives, jack might have agreed

pitch has been alone without people believing in him for who knows how long. he sees that jack is going through the same thing and is basically offering not only to work to together to get people to believe in them, but he is offering his friendship

idk i just have a feeling that the two of them could have possibly gotten along a whole lot better seeing how similar they are

Goodness, this really strikes at my heart. Pitch almost looks like a father talking to his son. After reading how he actually became Pitch this photo becomes more heart breaking.

once people read more of pitch's backstory i think people's perspective can really change.... you know other than what the movie provided. he probably saw a lot of himself in jack and was hoping for another chance to be a parent...
not necessarily that kozmotis is breaking through the fearlings to do that, but more of it's subconscious poking through?

Honestly in that part when I saw Pitch's hurt face, I was like "Oh man, he was really sincere about it?" I had doubts whether he was tricking him or he really meant what he said, but a lot of the art I see here made it all sentimental and stuff.

If this was the scene in the movie...Pitch sitting down and actually looking at Jack with that concerned and sympathetic look in his eyes like he's saying "I know" despite not aloud, I would've believed him the first time I saw it, but well, I didn't immediately...yeah...

Pitch's expression simply...ugh, can't describe it. It's just sad and nice to see at the same time ('cuz it shows he does care haha).

yeah i thought the same thing when seeing the film. aahhh pitch is such a complex character and i wish there could have been more of that sympathetic side shown
